The use case you showed is more for regular cotton towels, not paper ones.
For most paper towel actual use cases the cheaper ones are just fine.
Maybe this video can get my husband to only buy Bounty… Trying to get him to understand this has been hard. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Totally agree with this. But honestly I hardly ever use paper towels. Spill something? Use a sponge. Need to clean something? Use a sponge. I have old sponges for floors and bathrooms, too. I use a paper towel for toilets and sometimes mirrors or glass. Probably use 1 roll every 2 months. Save your money!
Just don’t get the Bounty with any colorful prints: I’ve noticed that the colors bleed onto my hands and what I’m trying to clean. Stick with the white only unprinted towels! Brawny is also a good brand!

I just buy 1 roll and it lasts me forever, because 1 roll = (2 x 8) x 2^16

Sometimes spending more on everyday products saves you money then buying the cheap stuff.
I use Sam's Member Mark.They fit my need just fine.
The cheapest ones are best for cleaning glass. No lint residue. (Pretty much all I use them for)
I noticed a similar effect comparing Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil and cheap DG or other offerings. The Reynolds was cheaper by the foot and stronger.
When they're now charging $18.00 for 3 rolls, I don't care if the cheap ones fall apart.
I frequently wring paper towels out and reuse them on a big spill, rather than discarding them and grabbing more like most people do.
I use Bounty Advanced. They're great.
Viva P/T are the best with a cloth like feel.

You can lead a paper towel to water, but you can't make it drink.
Bounty isn’t what it used to be but charges more money anyway.
If you use paper towels, your best bet is Brawny.
99% of the time when I have a spill that big, it's rare and happens a handful of the year. So rare, I'd rather just use a new kitchen towel to clean it. I use the cheap ones because I'm cleaning up < tablespoon of spills or oil splatter.
Or reuse sponges and sanitize them
