How does the Watermelon one taste like?
What's the metric version?
Yuck, pickeld strawberries and watermelon.
Thank you! I wondered about this on cooking competition shows when they do pickles. I always thought pickles took a long time.
why kosher salt and why not table salt?
Does this method cook the vegetables, because of the hot brine?
Is sugar necessary for the pickling process or is it only for flavor?
What’s the ratio in metric??
Pickled strawberries, that doesn't even sound good to me. The only things I like pickled is cucumbers, watermelon rind, okra, and onions.
how long do these last in the fridge?
Please, never use the term "Quickle" in front of me and my son ever again.
OK here's a quicker and better recipe.
Fill a jar with items you want to pickle
Cover with Seasoned Rice Vinegar.
Let sit (30 minutes to three weeks) done.
If you want additions: heat Vinegar, dump in stuff, 10 minutes, pour over item to be pickled.
Did you folks ever do a long format of this video? I would love to see it if you did.
This sounds good but anyone with bad kidneys cant eat this. So I am sure its a great teaching video for healthy people.
watermelons? I gotta try that
Was hoping someone who likes to summarize videos up would have done so so it would be easier on me who hates to effort anything 😅
YUM!
How long do they stay in the fridge? About two weeks? @AmericasTestKitchen
Can garden tomatoes be "Quickled"? I don't mean green ones. I'm thinking of my end-of-season red ones.
Wow, that's a lot of sugar.
