Oh my god I want potatoes so badly rn
For every three russets (two if they're big) chuck in a Yukon. Thank me later
Poe Tay toes
I was in the UK in 1979 and went to the local chip shop every day for 6 weeks. Why are those chips so good, spud type plz.
no, use reds for a rustic, dense mashed potatoes that pairs perfectly with any steak, pork chop, or grilled chicken you can imagine. red potatoes have one of the best flavors that holds up beautifully as garlic mashers, too.
Best mash is no water, so best to bake it in the oven
Excellent information! Thank you, DA
Blue lard
Awesome
Such a great video! Loved it
BOAAAREEENGGGG!!!!!!
My family always used red, they're our favourite! If you put enough effort in (or use electric beaters) you can still get red mash plenty smooth, just takes more work!
Or just let me eat the mashed potatoes the way that I want to instead of telling me how to live my life 😭
4 Yukon to 1 russet makes perfect mash
I want my mashed potatoes to be as thick as glue some days, so I'll definitely make mash with Red Bliss then!
But which one is nutritionally the best for you and also the easiest to digest or the best for your digestion
He sounds like Nigel on Ghosts
Russet and Yukon together are also very good for mash. Heavy butter and whip right awaym
What about purple potatoes?
Counter point: i get a smooth mash with reds on a regular basis. I don't use a ricer to mash them either.
Thanks! I needed this!
Actually you should try the Yukon Gold with the russets mixed in mashed potatoes that way they hold their structure but they are still very creamy
Yukon gold all the way. Save your russets for baked potatoes
Look like sponges
Very helpful. Thank you!
Red mash might be different but it is also delicious. The butter floats on it a bit and makes little pools for black pepper and flake salt
Interesting content but I cannot stand to hear or see you speak, will not be doing this again
Nah, I like lumpy mashed potatoes
I love potatoes! Great video! Thanks! 🥔
This is interesting, because I actually prefer red potatoes for when I'm making mashed instead of russets. I think they taste better.
I never had smooth mashed potatoes and are also not planning on having some 😅 I really like it when it's not smooth, just like my Mom makes it 😊
