  1. Hi Paula😍
Next time you make this chicken soup, cook your pasta first, and use only about 2/3 of the box , it’s plenty.
    I used a rotisserie chicken.
Didn’t have the stock, I bought a good quality chicken stock , low sodium.
And the cheese, I used about 2/3 of it.
    Turned out so good.
    Have to watch salt intake.
Never knew about that cheese, has a lot of salt!
You tell Mr Jim thank you for his mama’s recipe!
Made a few changes , after I saw Paula make it, I made some minor changes ., don’t we all 😄
But one thing for sure , cooking pasta first works better , then the pasta doesn’t
    Make it thicker.
Love your show Miss Paula, and enjoy your recipes and books! I watched you on food network , and got hooked on your books!
I was so happy when I found out you were on youtube!
I still think it was terrible what they did to you, haven’t watched that network since!!
Anyway, thank you for your show and so glad I can come into your kitchen again!

  2. That soup looks great. I always cook my past 5 minutes before adding it to the soup, otherwise the noodles will absorb all the broth. You can use Rotisserie Chicken as well. Paula, do you have an Instant Pot? That is a great way to cook chicken breast, the soup as well. Now I want to make Chicken Noodle Soup Thanks Paula.❤️

  3. I cook my pasta in separate stock, then add them at the end so they don't soak up the all the soup broth. Try making beer/cheese soup. In the Midwest we top it with popcorn. It is a great crockpot soup for game days. Especially when the Vikings play the Packers.

  4. Paula, when you didn't see the stick of butter, it reminded me that my dad used to say, good thing that butter didn't have teeth or it would have bit me. We lost him 7 years ago today. It made me chuckle 😃. Thank you for your videos you are down to earth and it is refreshing. I have followed you since you knocked on that family's door and cooked from what ever they had in their kitchen. Love you lots 💗

  5. I would have cut the pasta and Velveta by half, and less chicken for soup. Before you added the extra chicken broth it was more like a casserole consistency. If it were thicker like that- you could put it in a casserole dish with some cheese and buttered cracker crumbs on top and bake it in the oven.
