BAKED CHICKEN BREAST RECIPE
2 boneless chicken breast (6 ounces each)
2 teaspoon avocado oil
Garlic powder
Smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:
Remove the chicken breasts from the fridge and allow them to sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before cooking. The closer to room temperature that they are, the better.

Preheat oven to 450ºF

Lay the chicken breasts between two pieces of saran wrap or wax paper and gently pound with a meat mallet*, starting from the center and pounded towards the edges. The goal is to create a chicken breast that is uniform in thickness so that it cooks evenly.

Place chicken breasts on a rimmed baking sheet a drizzle each side with avocado oil and season liberally with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.

Bake for 15 minutes or until the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 160 degrees.

Rest the chicken for 10 minutes so the juices can settle and the internal temperature rises up to 165 degrees. Serve and enjoy.

  1. Hello, may I ask if you check the temperature of the chicken while still hot ( right out of the oven?) OR resting for awhile to get accurate temperature? Do you bake at 450° 15 mins total or flip the chicken &bake 15 minutes each side? Thank you.

  2. Omg!! This Hass to be by far the easiest and best recipe to make the juiciest chicken breast wow! I have tried many recipes but this one is hands-down the best! I will only use this method when creating my healthy meal planning

  3. Thank you, for this video. I'll give it a try, soon. I will say that I rinse my chicken before cooking it. I don't know how clean the processing plant is. I bought frozen chicken and needed to thaw it before cooking. I was surprised to see how much dirt was in the water after the thaw was complete. Since then, I rinse my chicken. I know some say I shouldn't.

  4. Tried this recipe and oh my goodness delicious! I’m trying to build muscle but my baked chicken always comes out dry and the texture is never right. The mushrooms really give the chicken more flavor. I used soy milk instead and it turned out great. Thank you!!!

  5. I tried this recipe and my house exploded. Apparently what happened was there was a natural gas leak while i was at the asian massage parlor. I couldn't smell the gas because i had been huffing nitrous oxide for hours and i figured wth right?!
