Learn how to make Beef Recipe
Rebecca Brand shows how to make an inexpensive cut of beef into a super tender flavorful dinner. Rebecca calls this dish “Mock Filet Mignon” because it’s as tender as filet, yet tastier than rib eye. Her favorite super simple marinade and tenderizing techniques are Rebecca’s trick.

You know what I like about you?? You are frugal, 2.79 a pound and pretty at the same time!! MLSB๐
Not sure if you're still active I remember I used to use your roast recipe alot until I couldnt find it again. Now here I am I found it ๐ I finished my onion powder so what can I used to replace it? Or just take it out the recipe?
Spectacular! You really have the meat cooks down.Cant beat chuck for flavor for sure.
This is a fantastic steak.
Great video. I'm going to try this today. the meat looked perfect.
Hi Rebecca ! I'm making this tonight, thanks for the great video. Do you have a recipe for your hair color ? It's very pretty & I'm due. Hope you don't mind my asking.
Sincerely,
Anna n Florida
I remember I did this recipe but with a thinner Chuck steak not to think and it still came out delicious. I forgot the recipe because its been a while since I did this recipe, so I came back to check it out again. I have to say I like the way you do videos, you don't sound boring and not to slow to get to the point on what to add. Your videos are fantastic!
I was at the mall just now (against my will) and yes – there were some pretty 20-somethings walking around.
And Ms Brand is so much more beautiful. poised, charismatic than ANY of those girls. ย This woman doesn't even need to try. Her natural presence, her eyes, her gestures, her voice – – just an absolutely divine chemistry about her that oozes sensuality – a trait that barely exists today.ย
Honestly, she should be in a museum under the "woman" exhibit. Just let people walk by her and look and nobody gets to do anything more. She's that statuesque and amazing.ย
Yep – this had nothing to do with chuck steak.
Um your face looks diferent why?? Do u botox??
I'm sorry I miss how many degrees and for how long? I don't ย want to use wine is there something else I can substitute it? Thank you
that looks great, but I have to complaints. One is you shouldn't puncture the meat like that. Two is that meat is rare not medium rare.
How can I substitute the wine?
cool again
cool beef Rebecca brand
I saw your video a few months ago and tried it your way. Needless to say, I have cooked it this way ever since. It always comes out great. Doing it again tonight.
What is this meat tenderizer? MSG?
It turned out wonderful. Thanks for sharing the recipe :).
Since my mother took out chuck steak to make today I decided to look up recipes and saw your video. Right now I am in the process of making it :).
when are you doing it
YAY
hey can you do the south westen stlye chichen sandwach
Did u put on boil when u put the meat in for the first time?
dont worry. When you are older, and you look around at everyone else and realize you look like you have aids compared to them… Then you will start to realize that humans are omnivores not herbivores. Vegetarians just look gross. You look sickly in the face and everything. That is your bodies way of telling you to go fvck yourself, eat meat.
Yes poking it with a fork will tenderize but doesn't the juices run out during the cooking process?
Yummy juice e stake!!
Can I sear the roast on the stove first and then put into a 200 oven?
Looks very delicious!!! Cute Blonde (by the way).
Looks great. i am going to try this. Thank you for the post.
just buy a better cut
im never buying chuck again
it looks yummy!
wow, I love how positive you are, cause wat the person wrote above seemed lik an insult
btw I really wanna try making this hehe ๐
same, me too. i use a tenderizer made from papaya. When I traveled to Indonesia a couple of years back, I went to a village and they use the papaya leaves and cover the beef to tenderize it.
Wrong! 200 degrees for 8 to 10 hours will get it done & done perfectly
Thanks for the recipe. Last Sunday I brought some chuck steak with the intend of searing it, but you helped me to not do that. This Sunday I cooked some chuck on the grill for that BBQ favor. It turned out really good. Thanks Ms. Rebecca!!!
We love easy recipes and this is a great one!
Out OF a sow's ear, that is.
You eat eggs, use butter and bacon grease, you cook and eat medium rare beef, you are "Bewitched," and "I Dream of Jeannie" all rolled into one, you can prove that you are capable of making a silk purse out a sow's ear. The only thing I can imagine separating you from from perfection, is the inability to lay golden eggs.
Good enough. I've tried Papain.
I like to bring set the beef on the counter, brush a little balsamic with herbs, for an hour or so.
It works and helps to get a brown crust on the meat.
Half pound of meat tenderizer = MSG, salt, God knows what else = mush and tumors.
It's not steak.
But she is cute.
I never knew there was such thing about meat tenderizer! wtf doesn't sound good
Those aren't chuck steaks. They are roasts imo. I tried the marinade, though, on some chuck steaks and found it to be too strong, it overpowered the meat.

450 degrees. I had to go back in the vid and double check too, the first time I viewed this.
you chewed that piece of meat for almost a whole minute. tender or raw?
what is your favorite side dish with this meat?
