Thanks, this is the reason I hate frying anything…gonna give it a try. : )
A little bit cleaner is all it does
Think I'll stick to my $1 mesh screen guard w/handle from Dollar Tree. It's stainless and I clean it immediately after each use. Has stayed clean. Bought a spare at that price.
I LOVE my Frywall. Wish I had a dishwasher to throw it in but alas, I don’t. Works great. No splatter on the stove. Have told friends about it and they have also purchased it and love it.
They make screens to cut down / eliminate splatter.
I don’t see me buying this.
How disappointing. Now we’re hawking crap. Disastrous.
Or you can buy a wok
i can only imagine the hair-raising kitchen mishaps resulting from people using this thing
How incredibly dumb and and impractical. :/ This might be hard to hear but a good nontoxic cleaner spray and a wet cloth after cooking will go a long away.
Finally a modern solution to the main problem that has plagued mankind since the dawn of time; a way to cook bacon while shirtless!
LOL! It may work really well, but sorry, It looks ridiculous. I'm afraid that Gordon Ramsay may walk into my kitchen and yell, "What the fook?"
Why not just get a bigass wok?
Now use the fry wall to fry up a wall of french fries.
Why not just buy a wok?
I am going to try out the collar. We always hate when we fry chicken & the grease splatters everywhere. We’ll try to find it on line or in a retail store in Canada.
My husband & up I are from Canada. We have been following America’s Test Kitchen for years & we are always making your recipes. Ours don’t turn out as good as yours. I made your thin crust pizza in the Cusinard this week-end & put it in the fridge for 48 hours; however, I couldn’t get it pressed & stretched out like yours even though I followed all the directions. Mine was in the shape of a Valentine (no kidding) but it was delicious.
I don't think the black and white edits helped, I was very confused with what was going on.
Ridiculously expensive for what it is. Purchasing one of each size here in Canada would cost close to $100 total. I can get the same result by using a cover on my frying pan and if I really want to leave what I am cooking open to the air, I can simply cook it in a deeper pot, such as a stock pot. The same applies if I am cooking a large quantity of kale or spinach. These probably cost less than $5 each to make, and they could sell all three sizes in a set for what they charge for one of them and still make a healthy profit.
Do NOT get this if you have a gas stove. The heat coming up around the pan will melt it in seconds. And yes, I'm speaking from experience.
It’s essentially a flat bottom wok
Shall you just use a wok instead?
Lisa … how is it that you're looking more beautiful every day?!
Not needed. There is something called a splash guard, and way cheaper.
Umm…no.
My husband will move out if I buy this. But- I want it. lol
Test one of those splatter screens next.
nahhh!
Come on now.
Would this widget even be recyclable? I have just received some information that it might not be, unless you take it to a specialized place. If it will not decompose, ever, and will not be recycled under normal circumstances, I am not sure that it is a good idea.
There's this thing that's called a wok 💁🏽
I simply use a high wall pan to do my frying. No need to have another gadget hanging around, good idea though..
Looks like a cone of shame.
since you aare both over weight, how about some lo cal ideas
I was wondering what it was. Good idea to the inventor!
Have a blast! That is why I don’t eat out. People nowadays are so plastic, it is unbelievable! How in the world people don’t use their head to think that plastic is bad for cooking, and bad for the environment!
Not for me.
Lisa! Yea! We need more Lisa !!! Love her reviews – I’m going to check out the fry wall !
Does anyone fry anymore?
McManus has jumped the shark
Need to put it back on the dog that it came off of.
Uh, yeah. But doesnt it take up your whole cooking surface?
If (and I do not know) ATK is getting a cut of the profit, this is not an unbiased review, it is a commercial.
