  1. 2:43 – that little girl is a darling (my yunguns were that small 15 years ago) … and I think I learnt this from Martha Stewart that if you should wet your finger, you can get that shell out without any trouble chasing it around the bowl.

8:57 – When my kids cooked with me, I would use the fact that the tsp is 1/3 of the tbsp, and how to divide and double cups and "spoons". The trick is to get them used to doubling (to get smaller) the denominator and halving (to get larger) that same denominator. You will need to teach them to turn mixed and complex fractions into improper fractions to do this, but having taught maths, etc. for 20 years, fractions (especially adding and subtracting) are the hardest things to learn. Now my eldest is a Civil Engineer, so I speak from experience. AND they "see" how maths are applicable. 😀

Great recipe! I'll give it a whirl at the weekend, Cheers!
