Didn’t even mention the Edlund tongs I see sitting there. I won’t use anything else.
Edmund made in USA. I Guarantee every pair on the table were made in China.
I was confusing in buying in bare grip and silicon coated grip, and this video cleared the confusion a lot. Thankyou🇮🇳
winner:
🔹️oxo 12 inch, scalloped (bergerigi), bare metal (insted of sillicone), & good pressure, nice light 4:10

I’m sorry the “uniaxial” whaaattt? 😂❤️ I love love you guys!!
USA made vollrath tongs 16" and 9.5", nothing to break and nsf, yes harder to squeeze.
They didn't even mention or test any of these tongs can handle the outdoor grills before falling apart from the intense heat?
Also what about tongs for delicate pans and pots, like, nonstick and dutch oven pots? Can't use bare steel for those. They'll scratch.
Oxo is a really good brand. I been getting their kitchen stuff little by little. Stainless steel wit a good grip
Thanks!
I have never understood why tongs have a lock on them..just one .ore thing to break. Never seems worth the miniscule space savings to have them lock in a closed position. Any thoughts on this? Maybe home cooks feel differently. But I do see these in professional kitchens all the time.
Those are kitchen tongs, not for grilling
Not good if you have a pan that needs tongs with silicon and not metal!
FYI… your link in the video description takes you to 16 inch tongs, not the 12 in tongs that you are recommending in your video. Also, you can get the 12 inch Oxo good grips tongs at target.com for $12.29 versus Amazon's price of $13.99 for the very same thing.
These tongs are garbage, as are all that use that pathetic and weak "rivet" used to hold them together. I bought a pair of these which lasted a couple weeks before becoming worthless.
Would metal tipped tongs damage nonstick surfaces such as those found in skillets and even Dutch ovens?
oxo shills
I find many tongs are hard to clean, even with a dishwasher. Ease of cleaning should be a consideration.
Use a pair of chopsticks.
I took a hammer to my dollar store tongs and shaped them the same as your winning tongs a long time ago!
Great Equipment Reviews. Thanks
Best ones are usually the NSF-certified ones you find at the restaurant supply store and sometimes at membership stores. The good thing about kitchen tongs is that it's easy to tell the good ones before you buy them by material, the way they look, close, lock and feel in the hand. An important factor is also the ones that don't have crevices that can trap dirt. Some even come in different colors for color coding 😉
I have the tongs of choice! First time watching this video. Nice to see I already have the best of the best. They are great 🙂
Omg these people did so much with tongs this is the most elaborate test in ATK history (except MAYBE the tupperware one). I love these people.
“And lastly we stranded our testers on a desert island each with a different pair of tongs and made them fight to the death with tongs and paddle back using only tongs.”
Oh tongs. I clicked I saw thongs.
It's hard to believe that there could be so much going on with a simple little thing like tongs.
Those "winner" metal tongs are gonna scratch the non-stick pans. I don't agree with their selection.
I bought a pair of tongs for my wife 🤗
Too bad they didn't test all clad… Because those are the best and easy to lock and unlock with 1 hand and can pick up anything
How you gonna skip the Weber tongs? Freaking best grilling tongs I bought.
My favorite part of the Oxo tongs? The silicone locking mechanism because it's easy to lock them with my teeth when my other hand is full.
These are getting so stupid. No one gets a hand cramp. Made up crap to point people to the one they like. Society is dead.
