Lol ——->((0:14))). “You naaaame it! You naaaaame it!!” 🎶 🗣🎤. 🤣🤣🤣
I didnt know harissa was used sparingly. I remember buying a jar of it from the grocery store and eating globs of it at a time on chips
It looks tasty but this is not harira.
Made this for several friends (good cooks all) and they thought it was great. I loved it!
I used red lentils (instead of green), rice (instead of orzo), 8 cups of vegetarian broth and only dried herbs. It was AMAZING!!!!
Does this freeze well?
You can prepare the dried chickpeas in advance and keep them in the freezer until you need them.
cooking shows are always telling us to throw away spices… they just get a little less potent, quit wasting your money and the farmer's work!
When did she add the salt?
I like it very much from Bangladesh, do U have Maqluba as well?
i don't this this soup is bad but don't make a random soup and call moroccan harira this is not even close to real harira you can find real recipes by serching authentic harira recipe in youtube you are spreading misinformation 👎👎
Came out a bit bland, really bland actually, so I had to play around with it. It's good, no doubt. Not totally convinced this works best as a veggie dish.
Thanks for presenting our dishes and making an easy version . Better to taste 👅 it from some Moroccan cuisine . Your version in not bad but looks like curry not a Harira soup 🥣.
Why does every' food' show especially if it's a mideastern or Asian dish now seem to dump in Cilantro-hardly in basically similar soups the same people did yrs ago&aa the Contessa said it takes over&one of the few that have30-40%reaction to it-mine of course is true soap-my NYC Jewish buds ask or keep it out-tiny bits of coriander I have missed in the past for warmth-Please say you can leave it out-people are Google & asking as I did
😝vegetarian with chickerbroth.
U White people destroyed so much. We keep quite but pls leave our food as it is.
This is not harira, everything wrong with this recipe
So many wannabe cooks here criticizIng this recipe. LOL! What's that they say, too many cooks spoil the broth? 🤣
Watched it a second time to make sure…. no one tasted to adjust salt? There's salt in the chickpeas and vegetable broth, but does it need to be tasted for adjustment of salt at the end?
Yeah, this recipe is in the More Mediterranean Cookbook along with the homemade harissa. Definitely making it this week. 😋
I ended up making it for dinner and it’s absolutely delicious. I used fire roasted crushed tomatoes, and don’t skip out on making the Harissa 🤤 We used low sodium veg broth and no salt added chick peas so the recipe definitely needs some salt.
So happy we have a couple of days of leftovers.
Great video! My mouth is watering. I'm definitely making this. Thank you
You missed the flour thickening.
Catch me putting a third of a cup of olive oil in a soup…
Will this be good the second day?
It sounds delicious, I can't wait to cook it for my family! Thank you for the recipe!
I am a Moroccan chef! This is far away from Harira Soup! Oh well! I guess you can do whatever you want 🙂 but this is not Harira Soup 🙂
I can't tell if they're being super passive-aggressive or just Canadian.
Did the Test Kitchen make a meme joke?
THAT’S NOT HARIRA
Pretty good. I chopped up the chard stems and added them at the beginning with the onion and celery so no waste and no figuring out what to do with them later. 🙂
Made this soup yesterday it is absolutely delicious,
Does she put any salt
I will call this Moroccan Harrira ala Americana!!😀
