  1. Scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes are the two dishes that TV chefs consistently mess up. And by "mess up," I mean prepare in a "creamy" style that is completely at odds with the "fluffy" style that I and everyone I've ever cooked for likes.
Those eggs aren't even creamy, anyway. They're soupy. And thoroughly unappetizing.

  2. Fcuk "turkey bacon". Bacon is cured, smoked pork belly. I got to ask, why would anyone even do scrambled eggs without real butter? Butter ads to the taste as well as the creamy texture. Not gonna do this health freak version.

  3. ATK,HELLO,,,,JULIA,YOUR COMMENT OF NO BUTTER IN BECKIES SCRAMBLED EGGS REALLY CRACKED ME UP,I DO THE A FEW TIMES A WEEK,AS SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO MY SOFT FRIED, BUT NO OIL NO WATER, MY PAN,A NINJA FOODIE 9” pan REALLY NONSTICK ! CHERIO,πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

  4. My pancake recipe:

    1.5 c AP Flour
    1 tbsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 1/4 c whole milk
    1 egg
    4 tbsp butter
    1tbsp honey (or sugar)
    1 tsp vanilla

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix melted butter, milk, egg, honey and vanilla in measuring cup, make a well in the dry ingredients then pour the wet into the dry. Mix til combined (don't overmix). Then cook! Add blueberries or choco chips if you'd like. Makes 6 pancakes if you use a 1/2 cup measuring cup.

  5. You WILL be eating those 4 hour eggs for dinner!
I'd have eaten my whole breakfast, worked enough to be looking for lunch, and reorganized my entire pantry in the time she took to cook those eggs. French style is hot and fast; small curd, or "Soft scramble."
Achievable in 1/10th the time. 😳
