I NEED THE RECIPE!! YOUR EMAIL OPTION DOES NOT WORK!!!!
Not to get all scientific about it, but there is absolutely no way that a dough with this level of hydration can be formed into anything resembling that lovely ball. Not even taking into account the weight of the butter, the cup of milk/water and the egg alone weigh more than the two cups and three tablespoons of flour, creating an approximately 110% hydration dough even before the butter is added. What gives?
I wish they had put a list of ingredients in the comment section, I never would have started this recipe if I had seen the ratios. Now I just have a bowl full of extremely sticky dough that I'm just going to keep adding flour to until I can work with it, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that the rolls come out decent.
For those of you who actually made the recipe, HOW? How did you get this to work at all?
I wish you folks would respond to questions in the comments. I have two that have already been asked but never answered so will ask them again in the vain hope that they will be answered. Can one substitute AP flour for bread flour? And how much more difficult are these to make without a stand mixer?
I can’t wait 20 minutes after baking, are you kidding?! 😝
I don't have a microwave so I used boiling hot water instead to vital wheat gluten i
and the one tbls. all purp. Flour added to mixer, the rolls turned out amazing. I also used AP flour… instead of bread flour. Thanks for this recipe 11/21/22 Happy Thankful giving to all.
Can these be frozen?
Oh my goodness gracious. 1st time is the charm. Amazingly delicious 😋. Made them for dinner with …bbq beef ribs. The dinners rolls outshined my bbq beef ribs and my beef ribs with my homemade bbq sauce is not to be played with. The best recipe for dinner rolls. I’ve ever tried.
Helpful Hint if you’re using a stand mixer kitchen aid place just behind #3 but in front of #4. Best results. If you notice her beaters are moving medium high not medium low.
There's a major jump between 1:18 and 1:19. That's a real slight of hand.
Thank you for fading out the music!
Most new bakers don't have bread flour.
Are there any recipes with just AP flour?
Absurdly complicated.
What if you don't have an electric mixer? How would you mix it by hand and for how long?
this is our new recipe for sure. Everyone LOVES IT!
Can I do the 2nd rise in the refrigerator overnight?
How does this recipe work for a regular loaf bread?
Can I use AP flour. I have a ton of it that I need to use
Tried, followed the instructions exactly, came out perfectly. Recommend doubling the recipe amount.
That looks realy easy to make#cookingathome
All right!!! How much is it gonna cost me for a little ziplock baggie of 250g of real bread flour???
And dont be trying to pass off and of that AP stuff!! I'll be able to tell once I start kneading it!!
I'll try and see if they come out like steak house rolls
I brought you to 1k! lol. Just made this recipe today as my son was craving sweet rolls. He’s addicted to the stuff. We didn’t have time to get some from the bakery yesterday and today we’re on lockdown. It came out perfectly!! Was scared as I hardly have success at bread making. So I searched online till I came across yours. Simple, fast and easy to follow video.
