VEGAN CREAMY MUSHROOM PASTA RECIPE | DAIRY FREE ALFREDO CREAM SAUCE | FAST VEGAN DINNER IDEA



LEARN HOW TO MAKE A DAIRY FREE VEGAN ALFREDO CREAM SAUCE AND MUSHROOM PASTA

LAY HO MA!! Pasta is definitely a comfort food of mine. It’s easy to make, there are infinite possibilities, and its absolutely delicious. Join me in this episode and learn how to make an easy vegan creamy mushroom pasta recipe. Let’s begin.

Ingredients:
1/2 lb cremini mushrooms
2 pieces of garlic
1 portion pasta
few drizzles of olive oil
generous pinches of pink salt
pepper
few sprigs fresh thyme
1/2 cup cashews (soak these overnight if you don’t have a high powered blender)
1/2 cup water
few sprigs fresh parsley

Directions:
1. Bring a pot of water to boil for the pasta
2. Finely slice the mushrooms and peel the garlic
3. Cook the pasta to package instructions
4. Heat up a sauté pan on medium high heat. Drizzle in some olive oil
5. Add in the mushrooms and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Sauté for 2-3min, then turn the heat to low
6. Transfer the garlic to the blender. Add some fresh thyme to the pan and give it a stir
7. Add the cashews and water into the blender along with a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Drizzle in some olive oil and blend on high until liquified
8. Heat the sauté pan back up to medium and add 1/2 cup of pasta water
9. Transfer the pasta to the sauté pan and add in the cream sauce
10. Give the pasta a good stir and turn off the heat (don’t over cook or it will become dry)
11. Plate and garnish with fresh chopped parsley, fresh cracked pepper, and a final drizzle of olive oil

  1. My dear new friend, let me tell you that my daughter always dislike mushrooms, to my surprise she bought a package of sliced mushroom at Costco's business center, I said que, que what? Lol
    While I was browsing YouTube for recepies how to cook mushrooms without any milk products, God direct me to you my friend.
    Fortunately I had all ingredients called for this recipe 😋
    OMG, OMG, I couldn't believe how delicious this dish is.
    When my daughter came home from work I served her plate. She looked at it and said please please God don't wanna get sick eating mushrooms lol.
    Let me tell you she ate 2 plates of this delicious food.

  2. After discovering your channel a week ago, I think I know one of the main reasons I love your shows. You describe the food with such detail, and elegantly colorful and beautiful words, that I can almost taste it. Most other YouTube chefs just say basic things.

  3. I love how succinct he is!! he is literally saying keywords, because that is REALLY all that needs saying! I cannot describe how much I Want every other food blogger to see this video and pick up that one presentational aspect. I mean those people talk on and on with their childhood stories and crap, that no one cares about. We want the recipe, the faster you give us that the more awesome your video is.

  5. The recipe says, "Finely slice the mushrooms and peel the garlic." I THINK you mean we're supposed to finely slice the garlic as well as the mushrooms. It doesn't specifically say to slice the garlic as well. It's not very clear.

  6. I made this today. It lacked diversity in flavors, mainly only tasted like garlic. It was edible, but I wouldn't say it's really delicious. But I'm lactose intolerant so I'm still happy that I could have any creamy pasta without dairy products.

  7. I made this recipe because and it was delicious!!! It really is so creamy and delicious. I kept going back for more. I tried this with some neighbors and they loved it to. I recommend you give it a try. So easy as well.
