Great tip. I buy sprouted grain bread so as it is, I already have to do this. When I didn't, the loaf went straight to the fridge.
My mother used to bake homemade bread (10+ loaves at a time), wrap them in freezer paper only and store them in the deep freezer (not self thawing freezer). They stayed good for a couple months 😋
