I needed a new pair of grippers. Of course, I was going to go with the cheapest. Thanks for putting me straight!
I can’t stand the one you picked as the best jar lifter… I use the progressive brand jar lifter. It’s spring loaded. I love my ball water bath canner I just don’t leave the rank the in canner when I done canning. That’s just stupid!
So the canner they ended up recommending is a steam canner. The guage is only for steam canning. Did they test it in that mode before declaring the guage faulty and useless?
This was very useful, thanks. Helped me decide what to buy.
Have you reviewed Pressure canners, the one I have had for 40 years. And it has worked fine, but doesn't fit quart jars.
Love you guys
I just ordered this on Amazon—before I spotted your review. I’m glad I chose wisely. I had to replace the one I had, which was one of the cheaper models you reviewed. The plastic rollers had completely crumbled! And I was ready to can some marmalade, too.
Hello😁
Love the vid, I hope you don't remake it with Adam too quickly. Or at all
Could you do one for meat tenderisers?
Good review. Once I have seen a pair of hooks/handles used for lifting out a full hot jar rack. The rack handles fall into hot water when lid is closed. Wish I bought the hooks.
Any clue on those handles?
Thanks for all the testing. Sure makes it easy for this rookie cook. Hey Lisa ❤️
Yay I’m glad Lisa is back
The temperature indicator on the Victorio canner is for steam canning. If your'e not familiar with steam canning, it's wonderful! I'll never go back to water bath canning.
Love these equipment videos. Thanks
😁
This is the whitest I have ever feeled
Do you think you will do a video on rice cookers?
More canning videos and equipment.
I've had the Victorio pot for a couple years and LOVE it!
Thanks for video! I’ve been looking for this jar lifter for sometime!
Does it really hold 20 quarts, or did she mean 29 pints?

Interesting review on the jar lifters. I learned with and prefer the old school rubber coated type. Bought the Ball spring loaded and hated it. The spring load forces more on the hands to keep the grip closed (works against your arthritic/fibro hands) and the black part that goes around the jars is so large that it is hard to slide it through on a fully loaded pressure canner. The canner is packed tight, the lifter does not fit in between the jars without jiggling and rocking the jars.
No Chris….no good
I have a granite ware canner that my parents used , it is pushing 50 plus years and work just fine . It has processed thousands of jars over the years . So save your money a quick wipe of a towel when finished and let it air dry with the lid off and you can have years of use for less the 20.00 (amazon 16.34)
I really like the equipment testing videos. Could you do one on cheese grating? Which is best: rotary, box, flat, food processor? And tips on how to best grate hard or soft cheeses would be most welcome! Thanks!!
I’m so happy to have Lisa ❤️
