  1. Add a T-spoon of lemon juice to the water in a double boiler, steamer, and egg poacher (I use an old Revere Ware poacher pan) whenever stainless steel is the metal for the pot/pan. No build up will occur which is hard to clean. Citric acid and salt is a powerful de-oxidizer as well. Also very good for removing buildup inside tea pots.

  2. I wonder if the lemon water will help with my sticky gluten free pasta problems. The noodles generally don't have much protein for the acid to act upon, and man they fall apart while they stick together. I will try it though.
