Kinda sounds like Chef from South Park's recipe.
So why not go with 1.5 oz semi-sweet chips, 1 oz heavy cream, 1 cup of milk and a pinch of salt, heated?
Ice cube tray moulds in the fridge or freezer. Microwave kills taste
Ghiradelli dark cocoa powder, sugar in the raw, 1% milk microwaved for 2mins, 1 tsp vanilla, and a pinch of salt if you want. Yum.
You can do something similar with the recipe for no bake cookies, you know, the one that uses oatmeal and peanut butter. Simply begin to make the cookies but omit the oatmeal and peanut butter. The base made from condensed milk, cocoa, sugar & butter makes some really awesome cocoa. I make this and let it cool into a half inch thick sheet. I use a piece about 3 inches square in 8 ounces of milk. Heat, stir, enjoy.
I always just mixed cocoa powder and milk….
I WANT THOSE CUPS!!!!! Link please
Brilliant
How much are the measurements for gods sakes?
Or, you know, you could just microwave a few squares with a few tablespoons of milk in a mug, stir until well combined and than top the mug with milk. Boom, save yourself prep time and potential "oh, I forgot about my hot chocolate I made 4 months ago".
Just use cocoa powder
I HAVE TO WAIT OVER 2 MONTHS TO MAKE A HOT CHOCOLATE 🍫
Real american hot chocolate,iuuug
Technically a ganache
Wtf a nigga want some hot choclate now not next month 😐ill just fix some warm sugar milk
Normal Hot chocolate: Cocoa powder, sugar, creamer, microwave
Instant hot chocolate: Chocolate chips, creamer, microwave, 2 min………….
2 MONTHS AND 5 DAYS LATER
And there you have it an instant Hot Chocolate!!!
this seems like a lot of work …..
wow, that intro chime sounds like the beginning of Shostakovich's Waltz No.2
wait a minute, i smell something… something is burning and smoke builds up… i think its Fakelab
"Instant"
so you could just buy dark chocolate and melt it in a cup of milk in the microwave and then stir ?
This girl looks like hannah baker from 13 reasons. Shes gorgeous 😀
That's really dumb. Just put 1-2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and sugar into hot milk. Add a dash of cayenne powder and amaretto for a Mexican hot chocolate.
Im going to use this recipe but with pot
I don't understand this. Come to Belgium and order a hot chocolate. Dark chocolate chunks into very hot milk and stir.
simmer milk. add sugar and baking cocoa. turn heat odd ans add slurry. top with fluff.
If you have an espresso machine with a steam wand, just dump some chips (or cocoa and sugar) into a 12oz pitcher with the milk and foam it up just like for a latte. It might not be worth heating up the machine just for that, but if it is on, it makes killer cocoa. If you want cold chocolate milk, just use an immersion blender with cocoa, sugar, and milk — it is lump-free within 10 seconds.
Heat the milk, wisk it, is that dificult? If I had chocolate and milk any time at home I would be happy, in Venezuela thoes two have become luxury.
So. Much. Plastic. Why all this plastic for this recipe? There are so many other ways to make this using the exact same ingredients but without all the plastic.
So – take about an hour to prepare a few portions just to safe a few seconds when making hot chocolate.
Or you could start by using smaller chocolate chips and not adding that much Fat with the heavy cream.
– 16 oz package of chocolate bites
– 5 pints heavy whipping cream
Combine in double boiler. Stir a lot. Serve.
Have 911 programmed into speed dial to deal with rapid onset diabetic coma.
Yummy.
I think it is easier to mix dry bitter chocolate with sugar. Then mix with hot water and cream.
OK…
Basically, make ganache balls and freeze it. Sounds good to me. You can add some cinnamon if you like too, or vanilla, etc. I like this ganache ball idea. 🙂
Not for the lactose intolerant 😁
Isn't this also a recipe for truffles?? Mmm truffles and milk!! I also drop a Lindt truffle in a cup of hot coffee. Delish!!
so…. make yourself some chocolate gnash balls and put them in milk. got it
When i watch a cooking video and I see the cook put ANYTHING in the microwave, I'm out.
That is unless they are using it as a place to let dough rise.
Real hot chocolate? The Mexican Aztecs who gave us the fruit are rolling in their graves.
I use dark Hershey bar,( break into 3 pieces) add milk, put in microwave about 2min, bam!! instant hot chocolate …Thank me later.
i literally watched this 4 times for that chocolate mix… (drools all over keyboard)
Mmm lets put oil into our choco milk, cause MURICA!
Real chocolate has a fair amount of very viscous oil, it provide a very very bad mouth feel, like a mouth of butter. I guess if you are a fat idiot american you wouldnt notice, but to us normal that shit is gross.
Use your heads, who the fuck trained you people? You want to make your own hot chocolate you use toasted cocoa beans and confectioners sugar ground together in a coffee grinder, or coco nibs. If you want the froth, dehydrate marshmallows and make them into a dust, mix them in. Now a non perishable, powdered mix made at home.
If you worked at my resto I would fire the lot of you.
I didn't realize that people here on YT are so stupid… I mean they don't even get this easy recipe and argue about bullshit…
So, in a nutshell, it's a microwaved ganache thinned with milk. Mind blowing.
