A well-cooked pork hock can make a perfectly satisfying meal when served with plain rice. The pork hock was deep fried then soaked in cold water for 24 hours to make it more tender, then steamed for 3 hours with aromatic spices. Tender, rich, and comforting, its flavor is unbeatable. Although we used pork hock (knuckle) in this video, you can always substitute it with pork belly, which works wonders as well.

  1. 用蒸的方式烹饪真的是失败,料汁全部聚集在底部,上层肉没办法完全入味。最后用淀粉勾芡也算是失败,糖底的料汁如果调配得好,直接将料汁浓缩成自然芡才好。
