Today, I’m going to show you how to make one of the best Korean BBQ recipes – this is marinated pork! In Korean, its called Yangnyeom Dwaeji Galbi (양념돼지갈비). You can use pork ribs meat or a pork collar cut (aka boston butt cut). In Korea, this is one of the most popular pork cuts to eat at BBQ restaurants. I’ll show you how to nail that exact restaurant flavor with a few key ingredients.

  1. Idk if people know this, but soda in general has an immense amount of acid. How do you think they combat that much sugar? So the sugar combined with the acid in the soda, does great favors for meat.

  2. I made that pork belly marinade. I don't think I have ever tasted BBQ that delicious. Due to my disappointment in marinades I'm the kind of person that likes to grill raw meat and just season it with salt at the half point. But this?! It blew my mind, the girl that wont eat anything close to lard devoured this like a little monster she is. Absolutely fantastic, thank you Future Neighbor for gracing us with this amazing recipe. <3

  3. Just made this today it’s soooo good. I didn’t have Coca Cola here so I used sparkling water and a kiwi. Still so delicious, really amazing. We had it with lettuce and chili peppers and rice and kimchi and made ssam and really enjoyed it. Will make again!

  4. Hi, first of all.. I would like to say.. I'm a big fan of Korean food.. really love checking out the videos and trying them. But I'm more of a spicy 🔥 food person. I like my food & Barbequed dishes spicy.

-So if you could share a recipe which I could use to make a spicy version of the same dish.
-Could you also suggest an alternate option to Coco Cola as a tenderizer.

  5. I decided to subscribe because you explain things really clearly, even for who doesn't speak english as a first language. New subscriber from italy 🇮🇹🙋🏻‍♂️
