  1. Ha, ha. Love it that Dom makes fun of his brother :” Juice? How about reserved pasta water?” What do you do with the left overs , especially after you add 2 lbs of pasta already to the peas, bacon and “ juice”. The pasta gets soft absorbing the liquid. Some Italian American cooks( like Mrs Scorsese in her cookbook) will pan fry leftover pasta and peas or beans. An alternative is to cook only a lb. Of pasta and add it to only half of the peas and bacon sauce and save the rest.
