Pretentious
I grew up in the Sonaran desert – have lived there for decades…but have never heard of, or seen, a "Sonaran hotdog" 🤔
But if you cover the hot dog up with tomatoes, beans, and all that other garbage, how are you going to really taste the hoofs and buttholes that make up a genuine American hot dog?
We call these alley dogs here in La,Ca.
Bacon wrapped hotdogs are called Francheesie dogs here, deep-fried with fries and mustard.

I love hot dogs my favorite condiment is mustard but I do love the Chicago style with the tomatoes and onions, mustard, ketchup etc.etc. I love hot dogs❤
Without the beans and tomatoes, heck yeah, I'd try that. (… well, if I ate hotdogs anymore. I've learned waaayy too much about em to be a hotdogger these days.)
So, in other words, they ruin the hotdog trying to be fancy with it. I would never eat a hotdog treated so badly. Call me old fashioned, call me non inclusive, call me really bad names, threaten me and I still wouldn't eat such a catastrophy.
