I really loved the interaction. I am making Shrimp Bisque, and decided to use some of the shrimp to make shrimp toast!
👍
Yum! Dad, set aside a serving for me – add spring onions and cilantro for me too! I would eat mine fried in peanut oil but without the mayo (watching my figure). Now I've got Hunger Pangs as well!😊
This is great! I would love a few more chicken stirfry recipes, like cashew chicken, orange chicken, and chicken with snow peas. Or chicken with broccoli. These are my perpetual favorites when I order takeout. Thank you! 🙏🙏
dad is very cute
Love shrimp toast and despise mayo. I love my shrimp toast w/ a little duck sauce.
I made very delicious shrimp toast and my suggestions are to add sesame oil into the marinate and mix in the green onion and cilantro with the shrimp paste instead of sprinkling them after frying.
❤❤❤❤❤
This is great my silly self all these years thought bread goes on top as well I thought the shrimp would fall off 🤦🏽♀️ ✅
Father and son a great team
Love these two! And more of them please!!!
Cutting the crusts off is defiantly a British influence. No traditional Chinese cook would be so wasteful. LOL
Yummy, I perfer Hellmann's mayonnaise
has anyone tried this in an airryer? I bet it would be good
JEFREEEEEE!
looks good! mayo doesn't work for me. tastes mushy or something, and gives me the trots. i'm a stone ground mustard guy, not super fond of ketchup either.
Made it the other night, BIG HIT. My kids loved it. Thx.
Putting your recipes behind an email lock just cost you a block on youtube. Enjoy!
Mayo and Miracle Whip two very different dressings. Miracle Whip is sweet, Mayo is not.
Gah! You had me right up until the Miracle Whip. Edit: I made this. It's AMAZING!!!!!
OMG this is really cool and so sweet to see Dad and son together. Your dad is adorable!
How does the shrimp stick to the bread when you flip it upside down in the frying pan?
I love the father-son dynamic, and also the sprinkles of history & culture lessons.
New Okinawa Japan Okinawan Japanese Food and Drinks Cuisine High Grain Produces Meals, Snacks, and Dishes.
He sounds like the son who never got his father's approval.
A nice Dad and son’s presentation!
America's Test Kitchen has been making me interested in British cuisine. Posset, Fried Shrimp Toast, and other recipes are making me go "hm…" about British cuisine. An American publication is teaching me more about British cuisine than the BBC ever had!
I prefer Peanut Oil. Vegetable Oil (which is usually soybean oil) has this scent that I don't like. I prefer the smell of peanut oil. Pretty much my main reason. I used vegetable oil first because it was cheaper, but I realize that I don't fry often, so I'll pay the premium for peanut oil
My favorite!
I was so excited to have the Pangs back! Looks like such a delicous and easy recipe. Thank you!
Great story about the 'free' vegetable oil!
I grew up in the western USA, and I like Best Foods/Hellmann's mayonnaise! 👍😍
Miracle Whip is not "mayonnaise!" All that high fructose corn syrup in Miracle Whip, gack!
Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise, has a similar (gackie) flavor! It must be a Hong Kong/Southern thing! 🤐
Home made Mayo is the best
I’ve only seen and eaten shrimp toast with bread on both sides. No condiments like mayo but maybe duck sauce and hot mustard mixed together. Mmmm, love it! Happy you featured shrimp toast today. Please come back soon!
That looks delicious 😋 !!!! Thank you for sharing this recipe!
We can meet in the middle guys, scallions & cilantro, I would eat it that way
I love mayo, I dislike miracle whip. I don't want no tangy zip
Another great recipe guys, we need more of you & your recipes, looks delicious
Another great Pang video. This is one of my favourite dim sum dishes. Where I used to have it (some chain restaurant in Tung Chung) they used two thin bread slices with the shrimp filling in between. Served with mayonnaise, of course!
I love this. I have not tried it yet but the recipe is so different. And the video itself was awesome as you took the effort in telling us, the amount of each ingredient and the time to cook. Even my favorite cooking channel doesn’t do such. Yes I sure as hell am going to subscribe!
Enjoyed the video! I will have to make shrimp toast for my sweetie. The two of you are a great team. How many other videos have you produced?
My man on the right sounds like Alan Alda
The shrimp toasts certainly look delicious, but I’m too lazy to cleanup after deep frying. Wouldn’t it be nice if the Pangs could make me a batch and deliver to my door! 😂😂
Miracle whip for the win!🎉
Pls what kind a bread dd you use on this shrimp toast thank you for sharing
I remember eating this
for me, shrimp toast is one of those dishes where if I see it on the menu, I have to order it
can't wait to try and make it myself
OH MY … Be still – my HEART! I haven't had Shrimp Toast in YEARS!!! This looks absolutely DIVINE! YUM!
Well done!!!
Im team Miracle Whip!!!!
