There’s basically one manufacturer that makes microwaves for all the major brands. So one isn’t necessarily better than the other.
There are other reasons as well: Microwaves can interact with other electronics and can cause issues for some pacemakers.
It is scarier to hear the oven referred to as the cavity.
Or just don't use them.
Microwaves aren’t fully safe though can be dangerous
