if you never tried it with a little bit of salt, it will enhance the flavor! Salt on melon is a southern thing, but 40 years ago it spread to the Philadelphia & surrounding area.

If you want one that really tastes good, follow these rules and apply them to a seeded melon. Seedless have less flavor.

Yes, a yellow belly is true, but the deeper the yellow, the more overripe the melon will be. That melon is over ripe.
