Quick and Easy Pork Chops and Brown Onion Gravy Ingredients:
2 – 4 Two inch pork chops
2 tablespoons Garlic Powder divided
2 tablespoons Onions Powder divided
2 tablespoons Paprika divided
Salt and Black Pepper
1 cup flour
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Onion Gravy Ingredients:
1 large onion sliced into rings
2 cloves of garlic smashed
1/2 rib of celery
1/4 piece green bell pepper
1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
3 cups Beef Broth
THIS IS HOW WE DO IT:
** Season your flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika
Mix well
**Season both side of each Pork Chop with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika. Pat all the spices into the pork chops
**Turn heavy bottom skillet to medium high heat and add vegetable oil
Once the oil is hot place 2 chops at a time in the skillet. Cook about 6 minutes each side until about 3/4 of the way done
**Remove pork chops to a plate to rest
**Remove about half of the oil from the skillet leaving any bits from the pork chops in the skillet scrapping them up.
**Add 1/4 cup of the flour used to coat the pork shop into the skillet and cook for about 2-4 minutes. Turn the skillet down to low and continue to cook the flour until dark brown.
**Turn the skillet back up the medium high and add in the Beef Broth stirring constantly.
**Add in the celery, green pepper and onion and continue to simmer the gravy for about 5 minutes
** Remove the celery, green pepper and garlic and discard.
**Add in the onions and cook for 1 minute then add the pork chops in and let it simmer
about 10 minutes until the gravy is thick to your desired consistency.
**Serve with vegetable of your choice over rice, potatoes, noodles or biscuits.
ENJOY!

Absolute wonderful presentation !!! Thx MFS
How do I get your recipe for the pork chops
I would have cooked the onions in the grease and all the goody on the bottom. It looks amazing been wanting to find a recipe like this..
Did not know that cooking in gravy tenderizes too. I think I use too high of heat to make the gravy, and I would not have thought to use the flour that I coated the chops in. Good Tip! When to place the onions is a good tip too. I like an onion taste, and putting them in with the broth is a good idea! Never would have thought to use pepper celery or garlic cloves as you do! Do you ever use cream or milk?
Looks delicious!
Look so good. I am going to try cooking it that way . The gravy look so pretty.
