Superb 👌👌👌
Love grassfed beef
Grass fed Beef taste really good . I had it a few times .
Wait there's pasture in NY?
Do you sell ?
I like more fat that's why I'm a ribeye guy
oh man….. YOU KILLLIN' ME SMALLS…..!!!!!!
Think I prefer grain fed in the end. There is already enough flavor for me in a filet or ribeye which is all I’ll eat so the extra juice and tenderness you get from the extra fat I like. ESP that ribeye cap….. yum….
Waygu beef is grain fed/finished too
Marbling?
Maaaan where lol
But, the fat ain't yellow. 👁️ I'd still buy it though.
I'm a town dude, living in a big city. I crave a ribeye so much, you can't even imagine. Haven't one in like a YEAR. I hate that vegans so much… 😅
im moving
I threw out a steak after cooking it because I thought something was wrong with it based on the smell and taste. Found out later it was grass fed. Nasty
Beautiful marble for grass fed. Thats the steak I love right there
I love the flavor of New York strips
Tbh i hate fat beef. Its alright for a steak but if you are gonna make a stew or braise the meat anyways it just wasted weight imo.
Id say in most ways non grass fed is both worse for the cow and worse for the customer. And if you are keeping cows semi ethically its not even cost efficiënt.
This is clearly a lot fed beef. Sun never hit the back of that cow in its entire life and it sure didn’t eat wild plants and spring water. That bright white fat says it all.
Where is the strip of fat?
It's not about taste with "Pasture Raised," it's about ethics, and feeling good that the animal your consuming lived a proper life, rather than stressed in a horror stall.
Grass fed is not nearly as good but this one looks above average. But next time finish that bad boy with grain.
Shouldn't the fat be yellow?
I was raised on a farm that pasture raised beef cattle, and fattened them up with grains before slaughter. To this day I can't find beef as good as what my Grandparents raised. It was the perfect blend of lean cuts with fatty marbling and yellow fat caps everywhere. It was fantastic, and as a professional Chef I can't find that perfect beef I grew up eating.
Not a fan of grass raised and finished. Too expensive for what you get. Meat is not as juicy because it lacks the inter muscular fat.
Nothing beats the flavor of proper grass fed beef. I like a fatty piece of beef as much as the next guy, but the rich beefy flavor you get from grass fed cattle is unmatched. (The fat tastes better too imo)
