If you get your yeast from the refrigerator section of the health food store it grows fast and big. The envelope yeast is not good compared to this.

You really should have broken one in half… all the details and then the only thing you did was eat it. You need to sell your recipe! Has anybody here made this without a mixer? I would love to make this but I don’t have a mixer 🙁
HI…for a lot reasons I can not knead at all by hand. Using my stand mixer is where it is at for me. How long should I let the mixer do the kneading for me?
I used 2+1/2 cups of milk instead of just 1/2 cup. When the mixer looked like soup instead of dough I realized something was off. 😱 I frantically added all other ingredients 4x to match the milk proportion except yeast. 😩 Wasn't rising much. So I kneaded in two extra packets of yeast. It was a huge dough so I had to divide it up to knead. I got the better rise but not quite what it should be but it was getting late lol I called it good enough. I just baked them (next morning) they are delicious!! It was definitely not perfect 😂 but still really good 👍 Thank you for the recipe!!!

Marble is the BEST surface for rolling dough!! You can buy a marble slab from Crate and Barrel….
Made this recipe yesterday and it was delicious ❤ got alot of compliments on it. Only thing I did differently is I didnt add the cream cheese or lemon juice to my icing.
