Poor Joseph French. He never had this in mind for his creation. Why are you calling it French Toast when it's definitely not. When you leave the basic ingredients out of a recipe you are changing it altogether. Therefore it is not French Toast. This is butter fried bread! And use a silicone or plastic utensil PLEASE!
