I cook my shrimp briefly in butter with garlic and out it goes. All the herbs added next except rep peppers. Linguine or pasta goes paste with lemon juice add shrimp last and stir in with fresh herbs.

Instead of cornstarch, just use the pasta water you boiled the linguini in. It’s packed full of starch and if you seasoned it with salt, you won’t need to season much after the dish is done.
