If you make it into tortillas or rotis you can eat them with Achar (Indian pickles) because they become Thepla(its an West Indian specifically Gujarati dish/ roti..)
Greens of all kinds can also be โsavedโ by reviving them in cold water. Immerse fully in a large bowl and let soak until they return to their original condition. Sometimes a couple hours is necessary. For lettuces, it goes much quicker if you chop first. Iโve kept full romaine leaves in a bucket of water for up to 5 days refrigerated with no issue. Most greens get better texture than when purchased. Spin out or dry on towels before eating if you donโt have a spinner.
That wasn't really wilted in my book, but awesome idea! Ive always wanted to make spinach infused lasagnasheets, but seems quite the challenge. This on the other hand is something I feel like even I can do ๐๐
Good idea! I usually toss them in the freezer and makes smoothies later.
No eggs?
I clicked because of kittens. Damn. Thought they were real.
First of all, who's throwing out these greens?
I love this idea! Thank you!
Donโt throw out the water in which it has been boiling
Finally!! I live alone and love my greens, but that means that I usually canโt finish it all in time and it just feels wasteful. This is perfect
Thanks
