How to Cook Mongolian Beef – Panlasang Pinoy



Mongolian Beef is a type of beef stir fry. Thin slices of beef are rubbed with salt and pepper and mixed with cornstarch before frying. The sauce is composed of soy sauce and brown sugar with some garlic and ginger. Its like stir frying crispy fried beef with thick teriyaki sauce and adding chopped scallions at the end. What can get better than that? Yummy!

This Mongolian Beef Recipe has the following ingredients:

1 lb. beef, sliced thinly
5 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/5 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 thumb ginger, minced
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon cornstarch
5 tablespoons dark soy sauce
10 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup chopped scallions
1/2 cup water
