I love the ideas but would be even more eager if you actually had browning/scraps rather than the best looking produce. Would make it more realistic and relatable.
Brown fruit won't make you sick? Serious question I'm terrified of food poisoning and usually waste food because of it… wish I had more knowledge of what is actually going to make me sick

My mom made some. It burn and looked like crusty old leather that had been left in the mud. And it tasted like the most charred, ashen thing you can imagine. The other batch was fine though 🙂

this is actually a very popular snack in my country Iran. most people make it at home and we also have lots of manufactureed options. the beauty is that you can make it with every fruit u imagine, or u can do a mix. u can do sweet or sour ones (sweet ones with apples and apricots etc). or you can even add a little salt for extra flavor. my favorite one must be kiwi or sour cherry ones
