Chicken Fried Bacon: A crispy, savory Texas delight



Chicken Fried Bacon is a delicious, pan fried Texan snack!

I had Chicken Fried Bacon for the first time at the State Fair of Texas years ago. Since we love chicken frying various proteins, and we make a very popular Chicken Fried Breading, I decided to create my own recipe and video for the Meat Church Congregation. What does it mean when something is chicken-fried? It means it is coasted in seasoned flour and pan-fried to deliciousness.

  4. The Best Bacon I have ever made, was thick cut apple wood smoked! And then I put some cracked black and a small amount of maple syrup. Put it on my Weber for about an hour with apple wood smoke. Good thing I made 2 LBS cause everybody in the campground came over ! I am intrigued to try this out!
