This cake is what dreams are made of! Truly! And literally anyone can make it! It’s super easy and beginner friendly! Not to mention, budget friendly AF!

Ingredients-
For the sponge-
Sift these ingredients together

3/4 cup Maida (all purpose flour) – 90g – ₹4
1/2 cup caster sugar – 100 g – ₹4.5
1/2 tsp baking soda – ₹0.5
2tbsp Cocoa powder – 12 g approx ₹6
1/3 tsp salt

Then heat the Wet ingredients –
1/2 cup water – free
1/2 tsp instant coffee – ₹0.5
3 tbsp oil – 45ml or ₹5
1 1/2 tsp vinegar – ₹0.5
1/4 tsp vanilla – ₹0.5

Sugar syrup-
3 tbsp sugar – ₹1.5 (around 35 g)
1/4 cup water – free

Ganache –
120g chocolate – ₹32
60g cream – ₹12

Chocolate layer –
70g chocolate – ₹19

Dusting of cocoa powder – ₹0.5

Total – ₹86.5
₹13.5 balance
(For miscellaneous expenses like electricity, extra toppings if you want, etc)

  1. Clearly some people in the comment section threw their common sense out the window. If he's providing the recipe for the cake then by obvious means he will list down the ingredient cost for the CAKE.
