I had completely forgotten my Mom used to make this when I was a young child in late 60s. It faded from memory because Mom stopped making it. I guess she made this to get us kids to eat before school. She also put sugar in rice. That just came back to me now too. LOL.

Was raised by my great grandpa, always had milk toast for breakfast. It's so weird to me that most people haven't heard of it. Though we do not add sugar, just milk with pepper and butter on top
