What spadix you add? Lemon and what else? Did I miss something?
Is this an AI generated CJ voice? Does not have the same tripping lilt weve all come to know and love 😊
Unless you get them straight out of the gulf, then they way better than frozen.
Made this a few times over the years it is stupid stupid good for how simple a dish it is. Serve with alcohol, it’s the Spanish way
Gambas al ajillo 😋😋😋
Just buy local wild caught US shrimp or you’re eating shrimp “farm raised“ in a sewage pond
I've been making this for a few years and we don't usually like shrimp. ❤
My friend ended up at the emergency room because she had to many shrimps at her birthday party.
I'm just back from Spain where they eat a lot of these as Tapas. It's even better if you put chillis and paprika. It makes a Gambas al Pil pil
"Until they curl up"
Shrimp curls up on cue.
"Good job shrimp, good job"
Love love love this! We've been making for years and it's always better at home because you can make it exactly how you like it. Personally I add chili oil (with bits) and a little soy sauce (adds more umami flavor). I also use about 2x as much garlic minced. It's AMAZING!
also tip for defrosting shrimp, if you have an air fryer, put the shrimp in there for like 5 minutes on the dehydrate mode.
Hello from Spain!
The intro is absolutely an AI chef John.
This dude said eat ocean flavored shrimp it’s better 😂😭😂😭
Good wishes shorts make me happy
Are you cooking the shrimp directly from frozen, or have they been thawed out first?
Im gonna make this now sometime this week. And gonna Add lime 🍋🟩🙂↕️
I know it's a "short" but you still have to list the seasoning ingredients, Mr Chef John!
Thank you for not overcooking the shrimp
Shrimp is the fruit of the sea!
Unless you live in a shrimping place like AK, we can get the best fresh from the ocean shrimp you’ve ever had coming out of Whittier Alaska
I will say, the only reason I go thawed over frozen is you can smell if the stuff on display is off or not; frozen you cant tell until you thaw it, by which point its too late if its especially fishy.
Ah, but you should really, really add some white wine too. Delicious!
What about FRESHLY FROZEN shramp?
I like those the bestest
LOVE it and eat shrimp a lot. Worth a try yum!
Gambas al ajillo need chili pepper (cayenne anyone?)
This became a staple for me, I like to add chorizo
AI intro? Did something happen to Chef John?
Chef started using AI 🤯
I wonder if there's any cayenne on the shrimp. 🤣
Looks great, but what spices are used? And did he add water towards the end?
We thought my daughter was allergic to shrimp. Turns out she can eat fresh shrimp just fine. It's the preservatives in frozen shrimp she's allergic to.
Hello from Sacramento CA. Great chef John now I'm going to have to add this to tonight's tri tip
