  1. When I make my saltfish pie I always add a layer of mash potatoes in the bottom of my baking dish then the stew saltfish and the final layer of the mash potatoes cheese and I garnish with parsley or bell peppers and then I bake it.

  2. i was with you until you added the cheese 🙂  can't do cheese and fish but when i make it i will use bread crumbs.  and thanks for introducing me to this recipe, especially now since i can't have saltfish cakes until i can find a good gluten free sub for the flour.
