We’re transporting you back in time now Food Tubers to when Jamie turned 30 and took a road trip through Italy cooking all the way. Most of it made it’s way onto TV but this little gem has been tucked away ever since. Here he is in Sicily cooking pasta and learning from the masters. Need we say more?
If you like this one let us know and we’ll dig some more never-seen-before crackers to share just with you.
What’s your favourite Italian food guys? Anyone from Sicily out there who can tell us why your food is just so good?

I've made some super close to this for well over a decade. 99% sure it was from either "Jamie's Italy" or "cook with Jamie" book. Best damn hangover dish in existence.
"UNSEEN" Well it turned out I have already seen it. 😅
They lied to him about that pasta. LOL
The most difficult pasta to eat
For me, the raisins ruin it. I can't stand cooked raisins, they should only be eaten as they are.

Just as I thought never use a spoon with pasta
LOved this video. I am Sicilian and will be visiting Palermo soon (pandemic permitting) and would love to visit this restaurant as the crew seemed so friendly and welcoming. What is the name of the restaurant ?
Sooo, no chill jam, then? 😆😆😆😆

Love that. Haven't got that particular pasta but I have everything else in my store cupboard.
I've made this a few times and it's great.
I am not even from a Sicilian background and I sometimes use the ladle but its more for serving decorating when you have guests. I just shove it on my plate. This pasta is hard find here and is only imported from Italy in Continental Delis.
Love
This is truly the most irritating person on tv when he dies I will raise a glass of moet
Bonne Apetite.
Raisin in gravy is unheard of…and no olive oil…bread crumbs?….lol
That pasta format is named manfredi

No way does that recipe call for 2 tablespoons of sugar. You'll get ketchup if you put that much. I did a half teaspoon of sugar and that was plenty to balance out the tartness of the tomato paste. I don't know if there was a language barrier or if the italian boys were trying to protect their recipe by trolling your man Oliver. Either way, use half a teaspoon and enjoy
