This is one of Haiti’s national dishes.This is a fried marinated pork called GRIOT. This Haitian Griot recipe in my opinion one of the best pork recipes out there.There are various methods involved to create this delicious juicy fried chunk of pork meat. Now if you don’t like pork on your fork, then this is not for you, however,the cleaning, seasoning, boiling, and frying method can be applied to other types of meat.And of course Griot goes so well with fried plantains and Pikliz which is a spicy pickled slaw with shredded carrots cabbage sweet peppers onions scotch bonnet peppers and bathed in a spicy pickly brine. It’s a great combo,but just don’t take my word for it.
