  1. I always cook the whole package of bacon at once. That way I have cooked bacon for a BLT, bacon bits for my Spinach Salad, bacon for a quick breakfast sandwich. All without additional mess. Cook it once and have multiple uses all without needing to fry or bake additional bacon

  2. Then you're dealing with bacon that needs to be defrosted to unroll. Instead use parchment paper in between each slice and store in a gallon ziplock bag. It's what I do. You can quickly cook as many slices as you need.

  3. I'll have to give this a try. My technique is to put individual slices of bacon in between parchment paper, kind of "accordion style", and then put in a Ziploc bag and freeze it. Easy to separate one or two slices. I reuse the Ziploc bag, but not the parchment paper.

  4. You can also take the rock solid frozen unopened package of bacon (a cured meat) and thaw it in a dish filled with hot water. Takes about 10 minutes and your bacon is thawed. Cool the entire package however you want and refrigerate the leftovers – which will keep in the fridge for about a week. Great for adding to salad, making a sandwich, or adding to scrambled eggs.
