But youre not searing it if it's in the tray. Says right in the manual searing is done in the bucket. That way you can also deglaze after searing for much richer gravy.

A roast should just fall apart, not need cut with a knife. Looks like a tough piece of meat, or the ninja isn’t for roasting.
