✅Ingredients

• 2 pork chops 3/4″ to 1″ thick
• 1 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Compound Butter
• 4 tablespoons salted butter softened
• 1 teaspoon minced garlic
• 1 teaspoon parsley finely chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon rosemary finely chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 splash Worcestershire sauce

✅Instructions

1️⃣ Place the pork chops on a rack with airflow above and below them. Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let the pork chops sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

2️⃣ Preheat the air fryer to 390-400 degrees Fahrenheit.

3️⃣ Dab any excess moisture off the surface of the pork chops.

4️⃣ Once the air fryer is preheated, place the pork chops in the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes. Flip the chops and cook for another 5-6 minutes. The total cook time will depend on the thickness of your chops. The final temperature should be 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

5️⃣ Once the pork chops are done, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for 10 minutes, topped with the compound butter.

Compound Butter
1️⃣ In a bowl, combine butter, garlic, parsley, rosemary, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well blended.

  1. I do my pork chops at 175 C (350 F) to cook them slower (flipping half way through). I have my Thermopro thermometer and turn the power off at 140 F (60 C), letting them rest for 3 minutes (temperature increases to around 147 F after resting). Always come out succulent and juicy. I then slice them into strips for serving. I tried them at 200 C but they came out tough.

  2. I bought an AirFryer but returned it bc it was so big & cumbersome. I didn’t have the extra storage space for it. That was when they 1st came out. Maybe they’ve made some smaller units? I seriously need to look at them again as there’s so many great recipes I’d love to try. Looks like they’d be great for 1-2 ppl and I hear also amazing for reheating food.

  3. Perfect timing! Last night I bought some beautiful chops – nice & thick, bone-in – was wondering how I should cook them. Well, now I know! And, like another gal said in the comments, I'll be serving them with a side of applesauce. Delicious! Thank you so much for sharing! 💜
