Followed your recipe exactly as described by you in my Philips XL airfryer the result was the best chicken I have ever eaten! So simple and at the same time so delicious
Loves the man juice too by the looks of it ..
What size capacity is your air fryer please.
I tried your recipe tonight in my brand new Cosori and it did not disappoint!!! Loved it!!!! Think that’s our Christmas meal sorted!
Hey – where did you get your measuring spoons pls?
I would of never thought of turning chicken over!! Thank you for that awesome tip. Do you think this could be done with the air fryer in the Ninja Foodi?
I bought the cosori 3.7 l and whole chicken is up too close to element which burns, so I wish I had larger size for this reason
Examination gloves
why do i have to go thru million of adds.
I never thought I could air-fry an entire chicken. Can't wait to try this!
This is definitely on my list of recipes to try with my new air fryer. The first thing that came to mind though was Cornish Game Hens. Perfect size for the fryer. I just need to figure out how long to cook it/them. Any suggestions?
wow thank you and nice, can you tell me what is your model of the air fryer please
Just don’t quit your day job.
And get a real toaster oven air fryer with stainless steel basked. Not this type with the poisonous none stick coating.
You use air fry or broil?
How many watts is your air fryer set to? I followed a random wing recipe the other night and my wings took longer at the called for temperature. I noticed I’m able to choose from 900W, 1500W, and 1800W. Mine was set to the default of 1500W. I’m gonna do another batch and try it at 1800W to see the difference in outcome but now I’m curious about the correct wattage, why I have the option to chose, and when to use those options
`best thing about it is I can cook and sort out crispy roast potatoes and have them in the oven, whilst the chicken is in the air fryer, considering here in Germany double ovens are not a thing, its a huge help!
I put thyme, onion, basil, green onions, spice mix, and a whole bunch of other herbs and spices. I need my chicken well-seasoned.
I was a bit reluctant to use an air fryer for anything other than sausage and chips. This video gave the confidence to try something more daring. I did and it was the best thing ever. Now I feel confident enough to experiment more cooking with an air fryer. Thank you 🙏🏻
Can we use chicken without skin
I'm making this recipe for a 2nd time today. 1st time was literally the best whole chicken we've made for our family of 5 before. The sheer simplicity of this recipe when compared to the intensity of flavor is truly remarkable. Thank you Coit for this recipe video that will be a new staple for our household moving forward. Bravo!
👏🙌👋rub that chicken👍😁
Yea so when you cook a chicken in an air fryer, you need an air fryer oh cheers pal i will write that down immediately, oh and make sure your chicken fits in the air fryer!!, oh cheers again matey i will also write that down immediately too.
I might have put two halves of a lemon inside the bird .
Extremely flavorful and extra crispy skin. Great idea starting it with the breast down so the juices run to the breast before flipping it to get the extra crispy skin. It was so juicy and so delicious, my new favorite way to prepare whole chicken.
Thank you for the easy recipe.
Wet brine the chicken for 24 hr in salt, sugar and apple cider vinegar. Rinse, Pat dry then proceed with this cooking method. Will up this game big time😊
Cooking spray is not good for your air fryer
Did you preheat your air fryer?
I have a question what's the best air fryer to get my chicken golden brown
Teflon base and chemical spray on top of it. Wow. Enjoy it.
What 's the spray you used ? Thanks.
Gotta respect the chicken! 🙏🤣
60mins???? Air Fryer is supposed to be quicker.
Looks good from Texas
2:32 this is where it gets R-rated
1. Thats not a marinade…thats a rub.
2. Olive oil oxidizes in high heat…better to use avocado oil.
Just sayin'
There's a very good reason for not rubbing chicken with your bare hands and that's salmonella, use some disposable gloves if you must do it, we have warnings on our chicken to not even wash it because of salmonella, if you've ever had food poisoning you'll see why raw chicken can be a serious medical issue
Holy crap what a good technique!!!
Great video man
05:30 set the temperature to 350 fahrenheit instead of degree.
What's the size of your Air Fryer? Will a 4.1 Liter Air Fryer be enough for frying a whole chicken? Thanks😀
I don't know why I found 2:10 so funny. Chicken gave up it's life so we can eat it therefore the least we can do is rub it with marinade. Great video.
Can I cook small joint of mean in this air fryer
looks great
its literally impossible to have less to clean up if cooking in air fryer vs conventional oven
I'm going to try this right now. I'm going to add some turmeric. I try to sneak it in whenever I can 😉. Thank you for this.
just purchased my air fryer. cannot wait to try roast chicken .
No need for killing animals..plenty of delicious foods these days..no need for the cruelty
What size air fryer are you using please?
Sorry matey, your chicken looks as if cooked in the flames of hell. Remember the Gordon Ramsay mantra, when it's brown it's cooked, when it's black it's fucked. It looked perfect at the halfway point so I'll try the recipe at a lower temperature. BTW, I always take the chicken out of the refrigerator 2 hours before cooking 20-minutes does nothing to bring it to room temperature. 👍🇬🇧
