Probiotics
You didn’t mention how good it is on hush puppies 🙂
As an alabamian, I can say this sauce is rare. If it's a thing somewhere I don't where that is. But I'm willing to try it and see what's up
I've never even heard of this.
Having grown in in Bama and have been making sauce and ribs since I could walk (Tomato, lemon, fermented fish sauce, and vinegar based with toasted spices and fresh french mustard, btw) – I ONLY ever see "Alabama white sauce" outside of Alabama, never in the state, and the Bama sauces do tend to be tart, sweet, and spicy. Tthis seems like a good sauce for prime rib or some sort of rare beef. Also I see this "Alabama" sauce alllll over here in Kentucky – not even once in Alabama. I would also see it when I live in NoCal, randomly. Not saying it doesn't exist in Bama – I've just never see it and I do chase good q. I'll be making my dry rub and sauce probably tomorrow like I would make with my grandfather back in the day. ^^
I make bbq pulled pork nachos and drizzle this all over them
Alabama is known for The Best Football Ever.. Not Swamps or Moonshine!! 😑ROLL TIDE!😁
Been making this stuff for 3-4 years with fresh garlic. I put this sh*t on EVERYTHING. 👍👍
Y'all really outdid outdone yourself with this, Merci.
Awesome that Chef John knows who the Alabama Shakes are.
That is not the true Alabama white sauce, not even near. And I really do not like the guy talking " down" about Alabama,,,,, really ?? " use mustard not Dijon because it is Alabama ! , I think the original Big Bob Gibson's relatives should demand this sacrilege to the White Sauce be removed,, Man this guy don't even know how to cook chicken.
Yum
its reminiscent of mcdonalds honey bbq
AL's Gulf coast is paradise, btw.
this dish is racist
This is great and looks suspiciously close to ranch dressing.
This looks awful. Low quality, high fat ingredients .
Can you possibly tell me what kind of grill you have?

Try some on a stuffed or baked potato, with all the fixins on it…
As a veggie "dip"
Fantastic on Texas Toast, or Garlic Bread
Have you ever actually been to Alabama?
Curious now have to try it out. Just looking at it fully plated, I would have guessed regular salad dressing.
Never heard of it before. I can't wait to try it.
I made your sauce with chicken and coconut rice. Delicious is not a good enough description. You are the best. Thanks again.
Alabama and its love for white sauce.you know what I mean
RACIST, RACIST, RACIST!!!!! Alabama, once a Confederate state and the label "WHITE" to describe a BBQ sauce is an offence to BLM please beware.
i MAKE SOMETHING VERY SIMILAR WITH 3 DIFFERENT KINDS OF BEANS AND SLICED ONIONS. YUM.
Chef John. You did it again. Just made the white sauce. DELICIOUS. I left out the salt and used spicy mustard. Real men don’t eat yellow mustard. Going to make chicken thighs tomorrow. You are the best.
Because, after all, you are the Victor Wooten of your high falutin.
Yet another reason that alabama shouldn't be considered a state.
Do you have a recipe of Alabama "oyakodon"?
Alabama native here. I've never had white barbecue sauce.

That actually sounds good! I'm going to try this but I'm going to omit the acv. You always make me laugh! Thanks.
I don't have anything bad to say about the sauce but, I don't really care for Horseradish can I leave it out or substitute something for it?
Thanks for the reply in advance. 2:15 After all I am the Boss Hoss.
