Almond Flour Bread Recipe



It is finally here! After weeks and weeks of testing, I have the best almond flour bread recipe for you. This loaf bread is naturally gluten-free and low-carb. It can be paleo and keto-friendly with minor adjustments.

🍰THE RECIPE:
Ingredients for the Almond Flour Bread recipe:
Wet Ingredients:
5 Tablespoons 70g Vegetable Oil, plus more for greasing – I used grapeseed oil but olive oil would also work
2 large eggs room temperature
3 large Egg Whites room temperature
1 Tablespoon 15g Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tablespoon 21g Maple Syrup (or honey)
Dry Ingredients:
2 cups 224g Blanched Almond Flour
¼ cup 28g Ground Flaxseed
¾ tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Fine Sea Salt

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8X4 (or 9 x 5-inch) loaf pan with 1 teaspoon vegetable oil.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the oil, eggs, egg whites, apple cider vinegar and maple syrup until emulsified*
In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, ground flaxseed, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Make a slight well in the dry ingredients and mix in the egg mixture until just combined.
Transfer to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake 35 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.

  1. This is my go to almond flour bread. I love the fact that it uses only 2 eggs and 3 egg whites vs the use of 5 whole eggs. I did recently substitute the flax seed for chia seeds and it turned out great but I wasnt sure if I was supposed to soak the chia seeds before adding them. Delicious, just has a slight crunch with the chia seeds compared to the flaxseeds.

  2. Yummy Yummy, this puts love in my tummy. I've cut out all other bread, to keep unwanted weight and carbs away from me. Also recently my cholesterol has been high. This has become my dessert for late a night snack with a cup of hot herbal tea. I toast it and then drizzle a little bit of honey on it. Wow, when you toast it you get a beautiful flavor, of almond. So so good. Thank you.
