This was seriously dumb. I can barely even get through regular episodes anymore with Julia and Bridgets overly scripted cornball jokes as it is… because it turns out that the elementary school level joke they insert into every single episode isn't made more funny by rehearsing it before hand…..and then you guys thought this mess was a good idea? Who the hell is in charge over there these days? I'm not saying bring Kimball back because it's pretty clear he's a prima donna and I wouldn't want to work with that either…and his new show kind of sucks anyways….but figure something out. Take turns hosting episodes…. there's no rule that says ATK needs two hosts just because that's the way it used to be with Kimball plus the given chef. As it stands Bridget and Julia hosting together have the dynamic of a brick wall. Solution? I say fight it out basically. Have all those chefs working there host AND cook an entire episode by themselves (no more dual hosts) and see who the fans latch onto. Obviously if a given host is so bad….the producers can make the call to cut that given episode and not air it…. which means producing more episodes behind the scenes as a buffer until it all shakes out. Trust your viewers. You guys tried to stick with the same tried and true format post Kimball….and I get that…I do understand. But it's not working. Kimball made that style and format work…and Kimball isn't there anymore so it's time for some fundamental changes and risks to save the shows (including Cooks Country) that deserve to succeed even without Kimball. Because as it stands this show has devolved and regressed to bordering on straight up amateur territory production standards. As proven by this very YouTube video.

I was disappointed that this resulted in an ad, but realized I'm happy that anything was posted here at all. I think most people would be less disappointed if this was not presented as a portion of a live show that required money to see the rest. You might just answer some questions and then advertise your site and a future livestream. I personally pay for youtube red, so it feels weird to pay to see this video and then not be able to finish it.

Was enjoying this, UNTIL …a commercial telling us to go somewhere else, THEN, a three minute dead silence commercial telling us to go somewhere else, then the last question cutting off.
More and more You Tubers are pulling this nonsense of using YouTube videos as one big giant commercial to direct people to more lucrative websites. Please stop ruining the Y T platform. Why should we click on anything if the video is going to be incomplete and frustrating. It wastes our time and is deceptive.
The deal is, you produce quality videos and we agree to watch the ads You Tube allows because we can sometimes choose to watch them or skip them, you get paid from You Tube, and You Tube gets paid and the platform remains healthy, not tainted. Content creators need to act in good faith, so that You Tube is not forced to take other drastic measures to ensure the platform has quality and is appealing.
If you think using another companies platform to direct traffic elsewhere is okay, why don't you open ATK website and TV show up for free advertising? This is what I am noticing and my interpretation, please let me know if I am not taking something into consideration that I am not aware of. Otherwise, nice Q & A, learned some stuff and both guys had pleasant personalities.
