For the full recipe:
Pull out your blender because today we’re making APPLE BANANA CARROT SMOOTHIES!
Smoothies have long been a favourite beverage of mine, whether I’m in the city or up in cottage country. Not only are they easy to make, but using fresh, natural ingredients makes them good for us too!
This recipe and video will help you make a refreshing smoothie, flavoured with the ABC’s of great-tasting fruit and vegetables. Something magical happens when apples, bananas and carrots come together in a blender, and this smoothie recipe proves it. We also love the addition of coconut and almond milk, and if this is an after-workout pick me up, make sure to add protein powder as we did to build those muscles.
Of course, we have other smoothies you might also enjoy like our SUPER SMOOTHIE – head to our YouTube Channel and check out THIS playlist.
Make an APPLE BANANA CARROT SMOOTHIE today. It sure is good!
INGREDIENTS
2 carrots, peeled and chopped
2 bananas, fresh or frozen, peeled
1 apple, cored
¼ cup of shredded unsweetened coconut
1-2 cups of almond milk (depending on number and size of servings)
1 scoop organic whey protein powder (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
1) Place all ingredients, except the whey powder, into your blender. Process on medium for 30 seconds. Add the whey powder, if using, and process for an additional 60 seconds. Pour into glasses and enjoy!

I like that you recommended almond milk for the lactose intolerant who walk amongst us…
This looks like a great smoothie just in general, but it'll be particularly good as a post-workout drink for those looking to bulk up. The bananas are an excellent source of fast carbs to boost the body's glycogen.

I was just wanting a snack. I think I might just give this one a whirl 😉 right now. Thanks.
