  1. The original ATK testing was in Jan 2022 so it’s no wonder this video short is way behind in evaluating current technology. As an ATK watcher and website subscriber, this just seems like recycling old segments as clickbait hoping to get new subscriptions.

  4. No robot vacuum that is connected to WiFi is worth the price of voluntarily giving up your privacy. They have cameras which have been documented to taking photos of your home, they know the exact square footage of your home including the number of rooms you have. I have a simple simple Eufy robot vacuum that isn’t connected to WiFi and does go in random zig zag patterns . It doesn’t have the bells and whistles but does do a great job of vacuuming without compromising my privacy.

  5. i have not one, but THREE Dreametech robots. They're fantastic. One of them even connects to water and sewer lines so I don't need to empty and refill tanks.

    Roomba will never enter my home since that incident where the robot filmed a woman in the bathroom doing #2 and somebody inside amazon (roomba belongs to amazon) leaked the footage online.

  6. I have one and it is OK. I use it to keep the garage floor free of debris. I had a co-worker who had one for a while. It found and picked up a pet accident and used it to smear the carpet throughout his house. So, use with caution if you have pets.

  23. The robot manufacturers thanks all of you people who were early adopters. You've provided durability testing and funded their next generation robots. This is exactly why I don't buy new gadgets until they've figured out all of the quirks. I save a lot of money that way and save space in the landfills.

  25. Friend had one. Very pleased with it.
    Then he got a puppy. Puppy left a deposit on the carpet. Along came the robot and sprayed it all up the wall, ground it into the carpet, got into its internals.
    His choice, get rid of the vacuum, train the puppy.

  26. I think there's a bigger question here – Are robot vacuums worth buying at all?
    How much effort do they really alleviate and how much is left behind to do by hand?
    Vacuuming by hand doesn't take that much time or effort and, in my home, there are masses of corners that a robot just wouldn't be able to deal with that are a snap by hand.
