Artisan White Bread Recipe Demonstration – Joyofbaking.com

Recipe here: Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make Artisan White Bread. Freshly baked, this Bread has a golden brown crust that’s wonderfully crisp. Yet inside it is soft and tender. I like it with a slathering of butter or sometimes I like to dip it in a good olive oil or pesto. It makes delicious sandwiches and really good toast.

  1. Hi I love the channel. I would like to make this entire dough in my 6qt dutch oven. Can you please advise on the preheat/baking times and temps? Thank you so much. I love the use of LDMP and that it is a same day dough as well.

  2. Hi Stephanie. I have tried to bake this bread 3 or 4 times with the same result. The bread flattens out in the oven and results in a very dense, inedible texture. I follow your recipe to the letter. Do you have any idea why this is happening? Thanks!

  3. My ceramic kiln rack solved the problem of pizza rack. Next time I'll put it above, too. Again, excellent demo. First try and perfect result! Thank you! This is how bread should be! (Don't worry I didn't bake it in the Ceramic Kiln! lol)

  5. Great clear, easy to understand, excellent video! Totally new to baking, here. A little confused by the towel step. I understand the dough needs to rest on a floured surface to prevent sticking, but couldn't it rest on the pizza peel which you move it to in a subsequent step? Also, I plan to make only one loaf. Should I simply cut the ingredients in half?
