yes, i too installed multiple shelves to put up my 50 kitchen aid mixer bowls.

This kitchen isn't tiny
Obe of my favorites is I got a cart with storage on the bottom with a stainless steel top for around 100 bucks at Wally's. I roll it in when I cook, out when I don't.
I agree that books don't belong next to a sink; furthermore, I don't keep any cookbooks in my kitchen. They need to be stored in a clean, dry environment.
Putting the book next to the sink does not make sense.
I don't have any wall space. My kitchen is so tiny there are cupboards or appliances on on all the walls. I have 2 cabinets worth of work space on one side of the sink and 1 on the other and absolutely none on the other side of the kitchen, only my stove and fridge. I did manage to squeeze a very narrow trash can between the two. Any tips for that?
